A while ago, I wrote a post about my favourite slow fashion brands and retailers that are locally based here in British Columbia. Since then, I’ve had a lot of comments saying what a helpful resource it’s been and how you’ve discovered some new local brands from the article. So I thought it would be a good idea to do a follow-up article with some of my favourite brands and businesses from across Canada.
This list is not going to be only focused on slow fashion – I’ve included other categories like home goods, beauty, and crafting supplies. However, I would say that most of this list is comprised of brands that have sustainable and ethical practices in mind. This is by all means not an exhaustive list of all the cool Canadian brands out there – these are just the ones that I personally love, follow, and shop from. If there’s a brand or business that you love which isn’t included here, please drop a link to them in the comments so we can all check them out, too!
