It’s amazing what we have for free at our fingertips with technology these days. From video and music streaming to chatting with friends halfway around the world, sometimes I can’t even believe all the things we’re able to do.
One of my favourite and arguably one of the most life-changing freebies is the huge supply of fitness and workout guides all over the internet. With the amount and quality of what’s out there right now, there really is no need to pay for a pricey gym membership, classes, or personal training.
Today I have three fantastic fitness channels to share with you that prove you can get in shape at home with only one investment: your time!
#1: Body Rock
The first is Body Rock, which calls itself ‘The Home Workout Movement’, and I can see why. The ladies running this show are incredibly fit – more so than I think I’ll ever be, though if I actually kept up with their routines and nutrition guides, I likely would get there eventually.
What I love most about their videos is that they are so short, you really have no excuse not to squeeze one into your daily routine. Don’t let that fool you, though – their moves will have you breaking a sweat in no time and are sure to put you through your paces.
If you’re just starting out, they also have a great beginner bootcamp that I would strongly recommend to help you get started and prepare for their much more intense workouts.

#2: Fitness Blender
Next up is Fitness Blender, which is probably my favourite out of the three and definitely the one I go to most often. The channel is run by Kelly and Daniel, a young couple who bring such amazing, free content on a very regular basis. There is a wide range of difficulty levels offered, and they’ll usually provide low impact options during their more intense workouts.
Get ready for a lot of HIIT (high intensity interval training) cardio and strength training, with some pilates and even some relaxing yoga stretches thrown in. They also have a handy app you can install for when you’re on the go.

#3: Yoga with Adriene
Finally, Yoga with Adriene is a more low-key option if you’re looking to relax a little or rest between harder workouts, while also building some strength and flexibility. Firstly, I just love Adriene; she is hilarious and has such a positive energy which makes you feel amazing when you’re following one of her routines.
She has a lot of great instructional videos, so if you’re new to yoga, you can start there to get a good understanding of the different poses and movements. From there, she offers some absolutely awesome 30-day bootcamps which will help you get into the habit of doing a workout every day, if nothing else.
Website – YouTube – Difficulty: Low to medium
If you’re looking to make fitness a regular part of your everyday life, I strongly recommend checking out all three of these channels. The fact that they can be done at home with no cost and minimal to no equipment really means there are no excuses. All you need is motivation, dedication, and a little bit of hard work to create a major positive impact on your life.

Until next time,
